The name Cir-Tech A/S, reflecting the company’s product and solutions offered to the customers
Since its foundation at the start of 2008, AL-2 Agro A/S has undergone rapid development. From the beginning, we have focused on the sale of equipment for the separation of livestock manure in the agricultural use. This still forms a major focus, but since then we have also found applications for our technologies in other sectors such as biogas, organic residues and other industries.
From the outset it has been important from our point of view not to consider the customer’s “problem products” as waste and also to ensure that our technologies did not themselves create more problems. Right from the start, it has always been important to us that the new products we create with our technologies generate genuine added value to the customer.
After several years in the business, we have now found a term that neatly expresses what we do and what we aim for. This is “circular economy”.
Livestock farmers all over the world have problems with over-fertilization due to phosphorus. We separate phosphorus from the slurry in a smart way so that together with carbon it can create added value. First in biogas plants and then with growers. We are thus helping to conserve phosphorus, which is a very limited resource and generate green energy.
For many years, organic residues/wastes, from industry, retail and end consumers have either been driven away for incineration or landfill. We supply technologies that can sort and separate glass, plastic, metal and organic components into products that can be recycled. The organic fraction creates added value first as an energy source in biogas plants and then by use as fertilizer on fields. Again, we keep valuable nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus in the cycle, while at the same time generating green energy.
Our generic term for the technology that we offer is Circular Technology, hence the company’s new name Cir-Tech.

Circular economy is a means of ensuring better management of the Earth’s resources while at the same time opening up new economic opportunities for companies, including the development of new business models.
The circular economy is basically a question of keeping materials and products with the highest possible value as long as possible in the commercial cycle. The circular economy breaks with the idea of a linear value chain, which starts with the extraction of resources and end up as waste.
The circular economy thus opens up the possibility of feeding resources, which would otherwise have enden up as waste, back into the value chain at an earlier stage ond into production cycle again.
Or alternatively, these recycled materials can be used as input in a brand new cycle.
